About

A lifetime New Englander, I was born right before the movie “Dirty Dancing” was released, in the era of big hair and high-waisted jeans: styles I still admire. I swam the five-hundred-yard freestyle event on my high school swim team and once ran the Boston Marathon. My employment history ranges from scooping ice cream to arguing before the Massachusetts Appeals Court as an attorney.

My short fiction has been published in the Boston Literary Magazine, and my legal writing in the Boston College Law Review.
